Archers from the Allen County Intermediate Center (ACIC), the James E. Bazzell Middle School (JEBMS), and the Allen County-Scottsville High School (AC-SHS) participated Saturday at the Russellville NASP®/IBO 3D Challenge state qualifier.
In the elementary
division, 25 ACIC students participated. Fifth-grader Taylor Uhles led the way
for the school, shooting a 256 out of a possible 300. Additional archers
scoring 200 or above included Hunter Clayton (219), Caden Elmore (217), Madison
Gaddis (216), Madison Dickerson (208), and Melia Emery (203).
The ACIC middle school
division archers (sixth grade students) included 14 archers who posted a
combined team score of 1451. Top scorers were Keagan Petty (254), Lexis Loggins
(249), Jonah Hamby (241), Owen Talbott (239), Hayley Ditlevson (235), David
Summers (233), Landon Uhles (223), James Fisher (219), Weston McCoy (210), and
Carter Douglass (208).
The JEBMS archers shot
a team score of 1488. The team consisted of 10 archers with top archers
including Travis McGee (259), Andrew Woods (255), Cole Jackson (253), Erin
Penny (249), Hunter Threet (241), Allie Matlock (231), and Amber Smith (218).
Three AC-SHS archers
participated in the high school division. Archers and their scorers were Cole
Meador (265), Calvin Smith (256), and Gabriel Oshefsky (249).
