The final week of the regular season for the Allen County-Scottsville
Lady Patriot volleyball team will include Senior Night and a final tune-up
prior to the District 15 volleyball tournament at Allen County-Scottsville High
School.
AC-S will start the week with Senior Night activities on Monday, October
14 as the Lady Patriots host the Glasgow Lady Scotties. The evening will begin
with the junior varsity match at 5:30 followed by the varsity match. Recognitions
of seniors Olivia Brown, Jaden Carter, Meg Foster, Averie Pitchford, C.J. Towe,
and Breann Varner will occur prior to the varsity match (approximately 6:15).
The AC-S volleyball players and coaches invite the community to attend
this special night. In addition, a special invitation is also extended to all
CORE volleyball players and students in the Allen County-School District. Core Volleyball players and
students that are 12 and under will get in free. Admission for all ACSHS/JEBMS
students, ages 13 and above, will be $1.
The AC-S home game with Glasgow and the team’s road game on Tuesday, October 15, at Franklin-Simpson will signal the end of the team’s regular season schedule. District 15 tournament play is slated to start on Monday, October 21 at Patriot Gym.
AC-S (16-11, 5-0) has
earned the top seed for the tournament and will face four-seed Barren County
(14-15, 1-5) at 6 p.m. on October 21. Glasgow (9-15, 2-3) and Monroe County
(7-13, 3-3) will follow in a battle between the second-third seeds. The
championship game is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22. The District
champion and runner-up will advance to the Region 4 tournament the following
week at Glasgow High School.
