Five Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)
students qualified Tuesday in regional competition to advance to the state
competition next month in Louisville.
Taking first place honors in the Local
Chapter Nametag Event were the team of Allyson Gobbell, Elizabeth Gardner, and Sarah
Gilliam. Receiving third place awards in the Local Chapter Scrapbook Event were
Madison Lee, and Karley Burchett. The five will advance to the state
competition April 16-18 in Louisville.
In addition, eight FBLA students also took
part in the Region 2 competition Tuesday at Owensboro. The students and events
included Brianna Brady and Nichole Carver (Graphic Design), Rachel Meador
(Health Care Administration), Grace Costello and Amicia D'Amico (Hospitality
Management), Allie Byrn and Jaelyn Carter (Marketing), and Chance Baldwin (Public
Speaking).
