Key Dates for AC-SH Seniors

The end of the 2017-18 school year will be filled with several activities and events for the seniors at Allen County-Scottsville High School.

Members of the Class of 2018, parents, and the community are invited to attend the annual Baccalaureate Service, an event sponsored by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Allen County Ministerial Association. The annual service will feature an inspirational and uplifting message for the soon-to-be graduates. The service will be at 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 6, at the high school auditorium.

The annual AC-SH Awards Night will be held on Monday, May 14 at 6:30 p.m. in the high school gym. This event will recognize seniors who will be receiving college scholarship and/or special community-based awards. Invitations will be mailed to the parents of students who have received awards and scholarships. Seniors receiving scholarships/awards should inform the high school guidance department by April 27.

The traditional Class Night for AC-SH seniors will be held on Saturday, May 19. The program will start at 5:30 in Patriot Gym. Senior Class superlatives and class members will walk-out in their formal attire. The evening will feature remarks from Senior Class officers and special entertainment from members of the graduating class. The annual Junior/Senior prom will follow at The Glea in Scottsville.

The 44th commencement for Allen County-Scottsville High School is scheduled for Friday, May 25, at 6:30 p.m. at Patriot Gym. The graduation activities for the 225-member senior class will include the traditional processional, the introduction of the class valedictorian and salutatorian, special remarks and entertainment, and the awarding of diplomas by Allen County School Superintendent Randall Jackson.

For many AC-S seniors, their time at AC-SH will conclude with the senior-parent sponsored Up All Night activities. Up All Night will start at midnight following graduation and include fun, games, food, and cash awards. The event will last until 6 a.m. on Saturday, May 26.
