The Culinary Café students from the Allen County-Scottsville High School will host the first community Dinner and Movie Night on Saturday, September 1 at the high school.
Dinner---prepared by the culinary students at the school---will be
served from 5 until 6:30 p.m. with the movie “Lady and the Tramp” starting at
6:35 p.m. in the auditorium. The cost is $5 per person for all ages.
“Dinner will be
spaghetti with meat sauce, salad and garlic bread,” added Family and Consumer
Science educator Olivia Farris. “This is
the first of many Dinner and a Movie events for the community. The culinary
arts program is hosting these events as fundraisers to support their upcoming culinary
arts competition.”
In
April of 2019, the AC-SHS culinary students will be competing at the International
Cook Around the World event at Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
