The Allen County Retired Teachers Association met on December 1 for their annual Christmas luncheon. Each guest was asked to donate items to the Allen County Family and Youth Service Center’s Backpack Program.
The request netted 100 items for the program which provides food items to needy students for their use over weekends during the school year. Retired Teacher Association president Julie Dinwiddie made the presentation to Youth Service Center Director Lindsey Ross, Family Resource Director Rhonda Kircher, and Chad Cooper, Instructional Coordinator for Allen County Schools.
