Students Recognized for Perfect Attendance

   Allen County Schools are pleased to announce that 88 students across the District recorded perfect attendance for the 2016-17 school year.

  “This is quite an accomplishment for each child and their parents,” noted Allen County School Superintendent Randall Jackson and Director of Pupil Personnel Garry Dewitt in a joint statement. “We realize it takes effort and commitment on the part of parents and students to be in school every day. We try to teach our students how important coming to school is and how they can benefit each day from regular attendance. We believe students learn best while in attendance each day. Again, we are so proud of these students.”

  At the Allen County Primary Center, 22 students had perfect attendance. The students were kindergarten students Lilly Kay Green, Kensley Gregory, Marissa Meador, and Madison Vick, first graders Clinton Brown, Camden Copas, Dani Miller, and Joanna Weikel, second graders Bricen Mansfield, Landon Meador, Brooklynn Melton, Erica Oliver, Kaden Stinson, Hadley Taylor, and Tyler Wilson, and third grader students Kennedy Carter, Isabella Cesare, Wyatt Duke, Jonathan Gregory, Elizabeth Jones, Aden Meador, and Deven Walker.

  Allen County Intermediate Center had 25 students with perfect attendance. The students were Jacob Bandy, Kerlandy Carver, Jackson Coons, James Disman, Kyla Duke, Aubrey Fernandez, Brayden Green, Travis Jackson, Chloe McGuire, Emma Monterrosas, Jacob Myers, Erin Penny, Brionna Retzlaff, Karlee Roberson, Chase Ross, Katelyn Rough, Ryan Savage, Aaron Shain, Anthony Stovall, Emma Stovall, Riley Swygart, Daniel Taulbee, Taylor Temple, Mason Wheeler, and Ryan Wolfe.

  At the James E. Bazzell Middle School, 15 students recorded perfect attendance. The students were Emily Andrus, Lucy Britt, Hannah Coats, Katherine Foster, Brayden Gaddis, Keeley Harper, Billy Linn, Cameron Maston, Emberlyn Miller, Jorge Alejandro Munguia, Emma Robison, Shea Robison, Tori Robison, Cody Wheeler, and Kortney Woods.

  The Allen County-Scottsville High School had 26 students with perfect attendance. The students included Margaret Adams, Chance Baldwin, Rachel Bomar, Aaron Brown, Joshua Carter, Johah Coomer, Aaron Denter, Ty Foster, Koren Hamilton, Maxton Harden, Renee Hewitt, Christian Kingrey, Colby LaFitte, Rachel Marsh, Nathan McGuffey, Joseph Miller, Robert Miller, Dawson Shorts, Kristain Simmons, Nicholas Tangen, Andrew Whitaker, Isaiah Whitaker, Cody Wiles, Dalton Williams, Briley Willoughby, and Kadie Woods.
