The Allen County-Scottsville High School Beta
chapter earned six first place awards, a second place, and a third place Tuesday,
October 23, at the Third District Beta Conference in Bowling Green.
First place team award winners were the Quiz
Bowl team of Harris Gregory, Caroline Gregory, Colton Barton, and Colby LaFitte.
Individuals first place awards included Taylor Carter in Agriculture Division
I, Taylor Beth Huff in creative writing. Katelyn Bewley in English, Division
II. Tori Robison in Cartooning and Katherine Foster in black and white
photography.
Additional winners included a second-place
award for Ashlynn Conley in color photography with the team of Riley Stinson,
Abby Stamps, and Jae McReynolds placing third in computer-generated name tags.
Beta students also attending the day-long
event were Rachel Bomar, Molly Cunningham, Sarah Hartman, Olivia Harwood, Emma
Robison, and Shea Robison.
