The Axis Winter Guard and JV Winter Guard from Allen County-Scottsville High School enjoyed solid days at their first Southeastern Color Guard Circuit (SCGC) Winter Guard competition of the season Saturday at Siegel High School in Murfreesboro Tennessee.
In the Scholastic AA
division, the Axis varsity guard earned a score of 58.39 to take top honors in
the field of nine units representing schools from Kentucky and Tennessee.
Siegel placed second (57.86) with White House (56.65) finishing third.
In the Scholastic
Regional AA, the JV guard was fifth in a field of 13 units. The JV Guard posted
a score of 57.15. Grayson County was first with a score of 60.66 followed by
Riverdale (59.97), Murray (58.08) and Waverly (57.46).
The Allen
County-Scottsville units are scheduled to return to competition on February 16
at Wilson Central High School in Lebanon Tennessee.
