The Allen County Retired Teachers Association (ACRTA) made a $100 donation to the Family Resource and Youth Service Centers Friday to be used to help buy supplies for the School Backpack Program.---a program that helps provide children with food for over the weekend.
The donation was possible through at a matching grant from the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association. The latest donation from the ACRTA follows a donation from June in which the group collected over 150 school supplies at their June meeting for the backpack program.
