ARMY ROTC National Scholorship

   The Army ROTC National Scholarship is for high school students planning on attending a four-year college program.  The scholorship will give students 100% tuition for three or four years and offer $1,200 per year for textbooks. Students also receive a $450 monthly ROTC stipend, and a 100% room and board coverage at Western kentucky University.

   Student requirements are:

--Bet a U.S. Citizen between the ages of 17 and 26.
--Have a high school GPA of at least 2.50 and have received a high school diploma or equivalent.
--Obtain a minimum of 19 on the ACT.
--Meet required physical standards.
--Agree to accept a comission and serve in the Army on active duty or in a reserve component (Army Reserve or Army National Guard) with your committment being an 8-year service with the Army---serving full time in the Army for four years and four years with the individual Ready Reserve.
