ACSH Seniors Recognized at Honors Luncheon

  Seven Allen County-Scottsville High School seniors were the recent honored guests at the Western Kentucky University Honors College’s annual Honors Luncheon. Seniors Coby Bessinger, Kerby Carver, Wesley Fisher, Ty Foster, Jacob Gross, Derek Taylor, and Kadie Woods were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements.

  The AC-S seniors were among 47 students from Butler County, Edmonson County, Logan County, and Simpson County recognized November 1 at the Augenstein Alumni Center during the Five County Honors Luncheon, sponsored by Franklin Bank & Trust Company.

  The honorees at the Five County luncheon have an average ACT composite score of 27.40 and grade-point average of 3.94. The group includes 15 Governor’s Scholars/Governor’s School for the Arts/Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs and one National Merit Semifinalist. The Honors College also recognized students from Warren County in a separate luncheon.
