About Ms. Lesley [ 7/25/2009]
I

I have lived in Scottsville my entire life and I am now raising my son here. He is 14 and is in 8th grade at JEBMS. We also have a fur baby named Koco who is 3 years old. This will be my 11th year teaching at the Primary Center.

I graduated from WKU in 2007 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education and in 2008 with a degree in Child and Family Studies.  I finished my Masters in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education at WKU in 2011. Within those years, I also received an endorsement to teach English Language Learners and students with Autism. I am also on the Regional Autism Team for the state of Kentucky. I am currently pursuing my Rank 1 in LBD and MSD.

I also run an Autism Support Group for our district. The group is called Awesome Kids. If you would like more information, please email: [email protected] or check us out on                     Facebook-AwesomeKidsAllenCo

I love butterflies, ACS, UofL, sock monkeys, and my job!

If children can’t learn the way we teach, we need to teach the way they learn. ~Dr. Lovaas
