Teachers from the Allen County Primary Center will be visiting neighborhood locations across Allen County to meet and greet students and parents on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 7.
The visits are designed to connect the educators with students and families at locations around the county. Teachers will be available to talk with students, parents, grandparents, and family members during stops at eight locations.
The neighborhood tours are part of a new initiative at the Primary Center---Every Day Counts. The programseeks to reminds parents and students of the importance of attendance for every student, every day of the school year. Each ACPC student who comes to one of the locations will receive a small gift from the teachers.
The locations and the time when teachers will be visiting include; the CORE (12:30), Landmark Apartments (12:30), the Allen County Public Library (1:15), Alco Apartments (1:15), Green Valley Apartments (2:00), Adolphus Volunteer Fire Department (12:30-2:00), East Allen Volunteer Fire Department (12:30-2:00), and Halifax Volunteer Fire Department (12:30-2:00).
