Welcome to  my website!  I have been teaching Agriculture for 10 years.  I love AGRICULTURE & I love watching my students GROW.   I teach Animal Science &  Horticulture classes.

I graduated from Allen County-Scottsville in 2001.  I found a deep love for the FFA during my tenure at ACS.  I graduated from WKU in 2004 with a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture Education & a Master's Degree in Agriculture Education from Murray State in 2012.

The election of Chapter FFA officers is a process. This link lays out the procedures of the interview process, so that the election of officers is consistant and fair.
All agriculture students are required to complete an SAE project in all classes. Attached is the rubric that is used to score students on their SAE presentation

FFA Greenhouse

The greenhouse is located behind the high school, near the new athletic complex.

The FFA greenhouse open to the public in April & May.  Come see us for   bedding flowers ,house plants, perennials, and vegetables.  We also work closely with teachers and students in the other schools on campus, to teach them the life cycles of plants.

If you like animals, plants, mechanics, speaking, going on trips, meeting new people, or like being involved with agriculture, take an agriculture class. One class and you will be hooked! You don't have to live on a farm or join FFA to take an agriculture class. But we PROMISE, there is something for everyone in FFA! Contact an Advisor or FFA memeber for more information on how you can become involved in the agriculture department or the FFA chapter.
