COVID-19 Media Guidance

  • Masks/face coverings MUST BE WORN at all times while covering an AC-SH sporting event this year. Masks must be put on prior to exiting your vehicle on arrival and must remain on until inside your vehicle as you exit. 

  • Media members  MUST COMPLETE A  COVID-19 SCREENING FORM and have your TEMPERATURE CHECKED prior to covering an AC-SH sporting event this season. The screening form (attached) can be downloaded and printed prior to arrival but must be turned in at the gate. Temperature checks will be conducted at the gate. Any media member who has a temperature of 100.4 or above or answers yes to any question on the form will not be admitted. 

  • Social Distancing guidelines will be in effect at all times.

  • Player/coach interviews are permitted as long as social distancing requirements can be met. 

  • Media members are reminded that KHSAA guidance has extended the players' sideline areas for football games. Media should not be in the players' area unless special permission is granted by AC-SH officials. 

  • Media members must stay at least 10 feet away from playing area in basketball, volleyball and soccer. 

  • Media members covering an AC-SH sporting event MUST COMPLETE A MEDIA CREDENTIAL FORM  at least  48 hours in advance of covering an AC-SH athletic event. This will allow school officials to make plans for your visit as well as count you in attendance limit guidelines. The form can be completed online here. If plans change after the 48 hour deadline, contact AC-SH .

  • Please remember the HIPPA Privacy Rule when reporting.  
  • For basketball games, athletic director Kerry Harwood will provide a broadcast location. This may change from past seasons.
