The Allen County-Scottsville Lady Patriot
golfers began their season with 18 holes of tournament action Monday at the Willow
Oaks Golf Corse in Glasgow. Two juniors and two seventh-graders endured a long
day on the hilly course.
Junior Aly Miller carded a 100 to lead her
team. Miller was consistent for much of the day/ On the front nine, Miller shot
a 49 before closing with a 51 on the back nine.
Junior Emma Cline struggled with accuracy at
times in shooting a 121. Ella Anderson, playing in her first high school match
posted a 124 while Allison Ford---also in her first match, shot a 126.
Trinity Beth shot a 69 to lead all scorers
and lead her Marshall County squad to the team title.
AC-S returns to action Saturday at the
Barren County Invitational at the Barren River State Park golf course.
