Allen County-Scottsville High School senior Rafe Blankenship carded a two-under 70 at Rolling Hills Golf Course Friday to place second at the South Warren Clash in Russellville.
Blankenship’s 18 holes includes six birdies---including a string of three consecutive on holes one, two, and three. The AC-S senior notched eight pars alongside four bogeys. Blankenship finished three shots off the winning pace.
Teammate Eli Stamper tied for 13th after firing a five-over-par round of 77. Additional ACS scores included Barton Rutledge (83), Peyton West (86), Owen Talbott (95), Evan Brown (98), and Dillon Ausbrooks (101).
The Patriots return to action Monday at Bowling Green Country Club in Greenwood Gator Invitational.
