Parents/Guardians of students
that will be freshmen at Allen County-Scottsville High School for the 2018-19
school year are invited and encouraged to attend an informational meeting on
Thursday, March 8 at 6 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
During the school day on March 8, current eighth graders at the James E.
Bazzell Middle School will visit the high school, meet with the high school
guidance department, receive a class registration handbook packet and
registration instructions, and be given an opportunity to tour the school.
That evening at 6, the guidance counselors at AC-SH will host an
informational meeting for the parents and guardians of this year’s eight
graders---next year’s incoming freshmen. The counselors will give parents/guardians
the same information as the students received, review the material, and answer
questions about high school class registration guidelines and academic requirements.
Parents can also tour the high school and the Allen County Career and
Technical Center. Teachers will be on hand to answer questions about classes,
career pathways, or the high school/tech center in general. Light refreshments will be available.
Parents with questions or needing more
information can contact the high school guidance office at 270-622-4125.
