Contact Information: [email protected] 270/622-4711 My name is Dolorse Woods Rice and this is the 13th year that I have taught Drafting at the Tech Center. I am a graduate of ACS and WKU with degrees in Architectural Drafting, Interior Design, Vocational and Technical Education, a minor in Industrial Technology and a master's degree in Library Media Education.
I love teaching drafting, especially the computer-aided drafting classes and the architecture classes. Architecture and interior design are my passions. I like the creativity that it allows...the students get a chance to show their individuality in these classes.
I am an adviser for SkillsUSA, our student organization for drafting, automotive, welding and industrial maintenance students. SkillsUSA is an organization that not only focuses on students' skills and abilities, but also focuses on leadership skills and employability skills. We have had a very successful year in SkillsUSA!
