ACIC has a newly formed Student Culture Action Team this year. ACIC is always searching for ways to provide students ownership opportunities and with teacher input, these students were selected to be part of this action team that plans events for teachers and students. They have planned various events this year, all led by them, to make ACIC even greater and make our culture a positive one. ACIC is like a family. The most recent event was the ACIC Winter Olympics, held on Friday, March 3rd. This event recognized positive behavior and wrapped up an attendance challenge for the month of February. Students and teachers were able to participate in the ACIC Winter Olympic games. Every staff member also received a prize from the Student Culture Action Team, with some receiving a golden ticket for a bigger prize. It was a great day at ACIC!
