Allen County Schools have kicked off a new district-wide attendance challenge, and our students are already making great progress!
Each day ACPC reaches 95% attendance or higher as a school, we will add another Pete to our hallway target. As we fill each ring, students will earn a school-wide celebration, with our BIGGEST celebration at 40 days on target! And the best part? The 40 days don’t have to be consecutive. Once we reach 40, we celebrate and start a new round! 😎🏁
We’ve already reached 95% attendance or higher on 14 school days, which means we are just TWO days away from our first celebration! When we hit 16 days on target and fill up our first ring, every student will receive a sucker! 🍭

🏆 Patriot Spotlight: Nolan! ❤️💙
Nolan has been making an impact both inside and outside the classroom! He recently graduated from Lion to Tiger in Cub Scouts, earning 6 required achievements and 11 additional achievements along the way! 🐯⭐️
But that’s not all! Nolan stays busy with baseball, Buddy Ball, archery, 4-H, STEM Hub clubs, races and community service. He has volunteered at the VH Dream Center by helping to fill the blessing box, and even makes it a habit to pick up litter wherever he goes. ♻️☺️
Whether he’s competing, learning something new, serving the community, or chasing his dream of playing in the MLB someday ⚾️, Nolan brings determination, ambition, and a whole lot of heart to everything he does! We’re so proud to celebrate this ACPC student and all the ways he’s making a difference! ⭐️

It's a little late in the day, but we couldn’t let National IT Professional Day pass without celebrating our very own IT magician! 🪄💻🔧
We had the date marked for tomorrow… 🤦🏻♀️ And honestly, that feels pretty fitting because Mr. Preston is used to us coming to him with very little notice and somehow making it work!
From fixing the problems we don’t even know how to explain, keeping our technology up and running, troubleshooting those “it was working a minute ago” moments, helping staff when something decides not to cooperate, and finding solutions when we’re not even sure there IS a solution… He does it all!
He helps keep our school connected, productive, and moving forward, often behind the scenes and without much recognition.
We’re so thankful to have someone who is patient, knowledgeable, dependable, and always willing to help… even when we show up with a problem and a deadline that is basically right now. 😂

Our students shine in places far beyond the classroom. Recently, Cowan’s classmates got to cheer him on as he competed at the TSCA State Show in Lebanon, TN, with his pony, Cowboy. Cowan and Cowboy competed in the 12 & Under Halter Pony class. 🤠🐴

We had ALL the fun finishing out our color days today as we celebrated students showing up and making attendance a priority! Students and staff wore BLACK & GRAY, danced with glow in the dark bracelets, and enjoyed bubbles and popsicles outside. It was a pretty great day to be at ACPC! 🎁🫧🍧
A special congratulations to the students pictured with "presents for their presence!" They have had PERFECT ATTENDANCE every day so far! That means no absences (even excused!) and no tardies! We are so proud of them for being here, on time, and ready to learn each day! ⏰👏
Also, a HUGE thank you to Southern Trends for donating custom ACPC T-shirts for our students! We are so grateful for community partners who help us make days like today extra special! 🥰

🧸💕 Teddy Bear Adoption Day! 💕🧸
Our six preschool classes had the sweetest day yesterday adopting their very own teddy bears! Students picked a bear, gave it a little brushing, chose a ribbon, and gave it a special name. 🥰
These cuddly friends will join students at nap time, providing comfort and helping them practice self-regulation, independence, and feeling safe and secure at school. 💤🫶
A BIG thank you to all the adults who helped make this special day possible! Our bears are officially adopted! 🧸💗
