Allen County-Scottsville seniors Tyler Turner and Claire Clay were selected this week for the prestigious title of Mr. and Miss Allen County-Scottsville High School for the 2025-26 school year.
Turner and Clay were nominated by faculty at AC-SH. Guidelines for nominations included considerations of students who are “well-rounded, good-mannered, respectful, have behavior that is above reproach, maintain good grades, participate in extracurricular activities, are active in making their community a better place, are well-liked by all, and are kind and generous to all students from every walk of life.”
The student body at AC-SH were then asked to vote to select Mr. and Miss AC-SHS. The pair will represent the high school this year and have the honor of being the first couple introduced at the annual Class Night ceremony next spring.
Tyler is the son of Amy and Jonathan Turner and Claire is the daughter of Ivana and Andrew Hardcastle and Jordan Clay.
