Seniors at Allen County-Scottsville High School (AC-SHS) selected their class superlatives, class officers, motto, song, flower, and colors Friday in an assembly at the school. The selections will be spotlighted in the spring during Class Night and graduation activities.

   The class of 2026 selections include:

Mr. and Miss AC-SHS: Tyler Turner and Claire Clay.

Mr. and Miss Senior: Ace Moore and Georgianna Tabor.

Best All Around: Briley Parker and Barton Rutledge.

Most Likely to Succeed: Kennedy Carter and Victor Palacios.

Most Dependable: Adleigh Edwards and Ayden Johnston.

Best Mannered: Ella Anderson and Trey Helmes.

Most Sophisticated: Allison Ford and Jonah Hamby.

Most Gifted: Olivia Baird and James Fisher.

Most Athletic: Addy Law and De’Ante Granger.

Classiest: Raelynn Donovan and Owen Talbott.

Most Patriotic: MaKenna Talbot and Keaton Taylor.

Most Carefree: Baylee Gens and Kyler Pedigo.

Most Loveable: Lauren Tabbert and D.J. Frields.

Most Argumentative: Payton Marr and Cameron Ballard.

Most Mischievous: Kaytee Shelton and Kaleb Jessie.

Class Clowns: Kyra Marr and Alex Taylor.

Shyest: Vanessa Hall and Caden Meador.

Most Energetic: Alex Hudson and Rico Gass.

Most Unique: Ali Fox and Edy Chavez.

Most Unpredictable: Arian Knight and Braxton Nichols.

   Class officers are President Raelynn Donovan, Vice President Jonathan Gregory, Secretary Alicia Burgess, Reporter Sara Minix, Historian Katelynn Ausbrooks, and Parliamentarian Adleigh Edwards.

   The seniors selected Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) as their class motto---”For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  The class song selected is "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield. The class flower is the Hydrangea and the class colors are gold, navy, and lavender or royal purple.

   The selections of superlatives for the seniors marked the third of four opening week activities. The senior parade was held Thursday morning with the selection of Mr. and Miss AC-SHS coming Thursday afternoon. The annual Senior Picnic is Sunday, August 10 at Barefoot Republic.
