Allen County-Scottsville senior Kyler Pedigo has been selected as the Co-Player of the Year by the Region 4 boys basketball coaches. Pedigo shares the honor with Greenwood’s Isiah Summers.
Pedigo will carry an 18.5 point and six rebound per game average into post-season play. This year, Pedigo has scored 499 points. The AC-S guard has scored 20 or more points in 10 games. His season high was a career-best 40-point performance against Glasgow on February 6---two points shy of the AC-S school record. Pedigo also scored 37 points against Warren East and had 29 points in games against Union County and Barren County. His rebounding efforts include a career-high 14-rebound night against Metcalfe County.
From the floor, Pedigo has made 151 of his 373 shots in 25 games, a 40.5% mark. He has swished 54 of 169 shots from 3-point range and is 100 of 131 at the foul line (76.3%).
Pedigo----who has been the Patriots’ leading scorer in 16 games and leading rebounder nine times---recently surpassed the 1,000-career point mark as a Patriot. Pedigo currently has 1,028 points which ties him with Jax Cooper for 10th on the all-time scoring list.
Joining Summers and Pedigo on the All-Region 1st Team are Armani Byrd (Warren Central), Kade Hardy (Barren County), and Maddox Shearer (Russell County). Selections to the 2nd Team include Will Beaty (Clinton County) Jaylen Bradley (Glasgow), Jaxson Mason (Clinton County), Davis Switzer (Logan County), and Kaleb Prince (Warren Central). All-Region 3rd Team players are Brison Nuckols (Monroe County), Jerrick Martin (Glasgow), Anthony Davis (Bowling Green), Ja’Kai Partinger (Franklin-Simpson) and Owen Shively (South Warren). The 2026 Region 4 selection as Coach of the Year is Will McCoy from Greenwood.
