Hello! My
name is
Maegan Renick and I teach English at Allen County-Scottsville High School. I am
now in my twelfth year of teaching, and I truly love my job.
I serve as a Senior Activities Sponsor, co-sponsor of the Student Council, and a school sponsor of the ACS Pridemasters.
My teaching philosophy can be best summed by a quote from Disney's Mary Poppins:
"In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun.
You find the fun and -SNAP- the job's a game!
It is a blessing
to come to work everyday at a place you love with people you care about. I firmly believe that the Lord puts
each of us on Earth for a purpose, and I believe that my purpose is to teach
children. I love the subjects that I teach, but I love my students more. I look forward to having each student in my classroom and to assisting them in their learning and journey through high school.
