in the District 15 standings.

18th win of the year.

Franklin-Simpson pulled to within five, 27-22, by halftime. The Wildcats continued
a 14-0 run to start the second half, holding the Patriots without a point until
a Camden Carver free throw with 2:32 left in the period. A Mason Shirley foul
shot and a 3-point basket from Rippy pulled the Patriots to within two, 34-32,
starting the fourth. A quick three-pointer by Shirley and hoops from Rippy and

AC-S (18-4, 4-0) will host Monroe County
(8-12, 2-3) in District 15 action Friday night. In January, the Patriots
defeated the Falcons 81-69 in Tompkinsville. The game will tip around 7:30 following
homecoming activities at Patriot Gym. A Patriot win will assure AC-S of the
top-seed for next month’s District 15 tournament at Monroe County regardless of
the outcome of next Monday’s final district match-up with Glasgow (15-8,3-2).
