Dorthy Bush and Julie Dinwiddie and their colleagues at the Allen County Retired Teachers Association (ACRTA) remember what the start of school is like for many students---a need for school supplies. It's a need in August and can also be a need during the school year.
This year, members of the ACRTA provided 120 items---items such as pencils, notebooks, paper---to the Allen County Family Resource Center. Resource Center staff at the Allen County Primary Center, Allen County Intermediate Center, James E. Bazzell Middle School, as well as the agency's counterpart Youth Service Center at the Allen County-Scottsville High School will add the donated supplies to their reserves.
Students who have a need for supplies should visit the FRC or YSC at their school.
