In order to spread awareness about child abuse, ACIC's FRC coordinator Sarah Lockwood enlisted the help of ACIC staff members. Together, they placed their handprints on the office entrance windows at ACIC in various blue and while paint. These handprints signify the continued awareness and prevention of child abuse. April is National Child Abuse Awareness month. In addition, Lockwood encouraged staff and students to wear blue on April 17 to show a 'united front' in bringing awareness to child abuse.
