ACIC Elementary Archers traveled to Louisville this week and participated in the 2026 NASP Nationals Tournaments, earning qualifying scores in both Bullseye and 3D events. We will know in a few weeks if we have qualified for Championships in Daytona. Top Archers for Bullseye was Breighlyn Anderson with a score of 256 and Embri Young with a score of 227. Top Archers for 3D was Rhett Tuttle with a score of 242 and Easton Tade with a score of 213. Personal best scores were achieved by 13 Archers. Congratulations to the ACIC Elementary Team.
6th Grade Promotion
Mr. Simmons' dedication and service to the students, staff, and families of ACIC and Allen County are unmatched. He goes above and beyond frequently, even in ways people don't often see, to serve anyone and everyone. Mr. Simmons is dedicated to helping others be successful and is the one that makes ACIC the best place to be! We are thankful for his leadership, his heart for others, and his hard work. KSA begins next week! We are excited and ready for students to demonstrate their learning from this school year. Please take a look at our dress up days for each day of testing and some friendly KSA reminders!
Five students represented ACIC at the KMEA Third District Honors Choir on Friday. We are proud of these students and thankful they had the opportunity to represent ACIC in such a great way while demonstrating their talents. Thank you, Ms. Valone, for all you do for our choir students.

ACIC Upcoming Events
In order to spread awareness about child abuse, ACIC's FRC coordinator Sarah Lockwood enlisted the help of ACIC staff members. Together, they placed their handprints on the office entrance windows at ACIC in various blue and while paint. These handprints signify the continued awareness and prevention of child abuse. April is National Child Abuse Awareness month. In addition, Lockwood encouraged staff and students to wear blue on April 17 to show a 'united front' in bringing awareness to child abuse. Shout out to Mrs. Kelsi and Team 209 for working hard in our courtyard pulling weeds, planting seeds, and adding decorations to create a pollinator garden as part of their PBL project!
Over Spring Break, a few more ACIC students were surprised with their kindness yard signs. These students were nominated by peers or adults in showing kindness toward others. We are proud of you all!
Before Spring Break, our 6th grade students got to hear from several different presenters for ACIC's annual Career Day. They learned about what they needed to do to have such careers, what skills were needed, what they do on a day to day basis, and more. It was a great day!

ACIC Upcoming Events
During Kindness Month, our Student Lighthouse lead our Fueling Kindness donation drive for The Dream Center. Today we were able to present the efforts from our school to help support their organization. We collected over 130 donation of cereal and peanut butter to help our community. Thank to everyone who donated! #BeKindACS
ACIC hosted a wonderful Math and Literacy Night for families on Thursday evening. Students and their families enjoyed participating in a variety of fun math and reading games together. Our 5th grade students also had the opportunity to showcase their learning by presenting their PBL projects to families. Thank you to everyone who was able to join us and help make the evening such a success!
