Happy Principal Appreciation Day to the best of the best, our Mr. Simmons! He goes above and beyond for every single staff member, student, and family at ACIC. We are thankful for his support, guidance, direction, and encouragement. He makes ACIC the best place to be and we are blessed by his leadership.

Have a great and safe Spring Break, Allen County Schools! We're looking forward to finishing the year strong!

Students from ACIC 4th and 5th grade Fire Seekers had the opportunity to attend Robot Royale at Western Kentucky University. Student were able to fly drones, code and control different kinds of robots, explore different fields in computer science and technology, and even tour WKU. The event, hosted by Warren County Public Schools, set a record attendance this year with 424 students participating - including our own from Allen County!

The Allen County Intermediate Center's Lighthouse Student Leadership team presented a program to the Allen County Board of Education at the March Regular Board Meeting. The young leaders explained to Board members about their selection, Leader In Me principles, their roles through the year, and how being on the Lighthouse leadership team had impacted their lives.

It's FRYSC Week and we wanted to introduce the faces behind the Family Resource and Youth Service Centers here in the Allen County School System. These ladies work tirelessly to provide for the students and families in their network. Standing behind our motto "Whatever it takes", which reflects the commitment of FRYSCs to help students and families by removing non-academic barriers to student achievement, bridge the gaps to needed resources and collaborate the resources of the schools and communities for the success of students and families. FRYSCs offer a variety of resources, programs, and community partnerships to achieve their goals. For more information on FRYSCs services and programs please contact your child's school.
