We are looking forward to a great first two days of school. Here are a few reminders!

ACPC would like to welcome Mrs. Owen to the ECE team.

ACPC Car Rider Procedures & Reminders
To help ensure a safe, efficient dismissal for all students, please review the following car rider procedures before the first day of school.
New for the 2026-2027 School Year: Car Rider Line Arrival Time
To help maintain safe traffic flow throughout the Allen County Schools campus, vehicles may not begin lining up for afternoon dismissal before 2:00 p.m.
This district procedure is in place to keep campus roadways clear for school operations, buses, emergency vehicles, and other traffic.
Please note:
Vehicles arriving to line up before 2:00 p.m. will be asked by district personnel to leave the line and return after 2:00 p.m.
Please do not park or stage along Oliver Street, ACS Campus roads, or other roadways surrounding campus while waiting for dismissal.
Car Rider Pro System
Allen County Primary Center uses the Car Rider Pro digital dismissal system.
Every vehicle picking up a student must display a Car Rider Pro tag.
The system reads your tag as you approach the pickup area and alerts staff to get your child ready. Do not pass the sign near ACIC before 2:45 or your tag will not read.
After the first week of school, any adult without a Car Rider Pro tag will be required to park and come into the office with a valid photo ID to check out their child. This is for the safety and security of all students.
Do not enter the pickup loop directly from Gallatin Road. Vehicles entering this way will not pass the tag reader, and your tag cannot be scanned. You will be directed to enter the end of the car rider line using the normal route.
Car Rider Route
Please follow the designated traffic pattern each afternoon.
Travel on Gallatin Road and turn onto Oliver Street.
Turn right onto the ACS Campus.
Follow the signs to Allen County Primary Center, staying in the right lane.
Continue through the designated car rider line until directed into the pickup loop.
Following the designated route helps keep traffic moving and ensures every vehicle passes the Car Rider Pro tag reader.
While in the Pickup Loop
Remain in your vehicle at all times.
Pull forward to fill every available pickup space.
Do not pass other vehicles in the pickup line.
Follow all directions given by school staff.
Watch carefully for students, staff members, and other vehicles.
Buckling Students
To help keep dismissal moving efficiently:
Practice having your child unbuckle and buckle independently before school begins.
If your child requires assistance with buckling, please pull forward and out of the pickup loop before securing them in their seat.
Stopping in the pickup lane to buckle a child delays dismissal for hundreds of families.
Exiting Campus
Yield to oncoming traffic when leaving the pickup loop.
Follow all posted traffic signs and staff directions until you exit campus.
Thank You
Your patience and cooperation help us provide a safe and efficient dismissal for nearly 1,000 students each day. By following these procedures and displaying your Car Rider Pro tag, you help ensure that every child gets home safely and dismissal runs as quickly as possible.

⏰ Kindergarten students should arrive at 8:00 AM.
🚗 Please do not arrive on campus before 7:50 AM.
This delayed arrival will allow our bus lot to clear and help reduce first-day traffic and congestion on campus. Families are welcome to walk their kindergarten student into the building.
☕ After drop-off, stop by the cafeteria at 8:15 AM for our Boohoo Breakfast and a special morning message from the principal!
📌 Please note: This delayed start does not apply to kindergarten students who have siblings attending ACPC. Those families may arrive together at the regular time.
