We brought our favorite stories to life today by dressing up as beloved book characters! Some of our students and staff were so creative, check out these photos! 📖👀
We also loved welcoming guest readers from our community and some of our friends at Allen County Intermediate Center. Thank you for helping us celebrate a love of reading! 📖💙

🤪📚 Wacky Wednesday! 🤪📚
It was a wonderfully wacky day at ACPC! We loved seeing all the silly outfits and crazy hair as we continued celebrating Read Across America Week.
We'd also like to give a big thank you to the guest readers who joined us today and helped make the day extra special! ❤️😊

Our hat game was strong today! Students and staff rocked their favorite headwear to celebrate reading in style. 🧢👒
We were also excited to welcome United Way volunteers from their Read United program, who read to our preschool classes.
👀 You won’t want to miss what’s happening tomorrow!

🌎✈️ Oh, the Places You’ll Go! ✈️🌎
We kicked off Read Across America Week in style with Dress Like a Tourist Day! Our students and teachers were ready to travel the world. From sunglasses and Hawaiian shirts to fanny packs and cameras, we saw lots of adventurers in the building. 🧳🗺️
We also loved welcoming special guest readers into some of our classrooms to help us start the week off strong. 📚
Stay tuned to see where the rest of the week takes us next… 👀✨

We are collecting bingo prizes for residents at Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Care, including Bath and Body Works items, room decor, large print puzzle books, adult coloring books, nonslip socks, card games, fleece blankets, sugar-free candy, and solar powered bobbleheads.
The class with the MOST items donated will win a pizza party.
Thank you for helping our students spread kindness in our community.

This will be a fun, family-friendly evening focused on healthy habits, active learning, and ways to support both physical and emotional well-being at home and at school. Families will have the opportunity to participate in engaging activities, receive free resources and games, and spend time together as a school community. We will have food trucks at this event so come hungry!
We look forward to seeing our ACPC families there for an evening of learning, connection, and wellness.

If you have a child between the ages of 3 and 4, we would love to connect with your family! Allen County Primary Center is now inviting families to begin the preschool screening process.
These screenings help families learn more about their child’s development and connect early with our team when support can make a lasting difference. Even if you are unsure whether your child will qualify, we encourage you to move forward and learn more.
Getting started now helps us plan for the year ahead and ensures your child has every opportunity for a strong start.

Please help us support our community by sharing this post with neighbors, friends, and family who have preschool aged children. We cannot wait to meet our future Patriots and partner with Allen County families from the very beginning.
