Today ACPC was proud to celebrate Purple Up! Day in support of our military-connected students and families. We honor their strength, resilience, and the unique challenges they navigate with courage every day, especially those with deployed parents. 💜
We are also excited to share the Kentucky Purple Star Annual Art Contest! 🎨 Entries are due May 29, 2026. Winning artwork will be recognized next school year and shared across the state! See the attached graphic for details.

Our Lucky Ducks were BUSY this spring break… and the adventures kept growing! ☀️
🦆 Murray kicked things off at Rudy’s Restaurant—practicing good manners and staying cool in the A/C 😎🍽️ and enjoyed a film at Cheri Theatres🍿🎬
🦆 Mrs. Featherington supervised a backyard project… making sure every hammer swing met duck standards 🔨😂
🦆 Ducky cruised along on a tractor—living that country dream getting the garden ready 🚜🌾
🦆 Murray loved rolls and sweet tea at Dumplin’s… carbs = happiness 🧈🥖
🦆 Martha soaked up the fresh spring air out in the yard working on landscaping 🌼☀️
🦆 Pinkalicious relaxed by the water… still telling stories about “the one that got away” 🎣😄 Explored Dutch Country Safari Park—wild times with new animal friends 🦓

🦆 Mrs. Featherington helped brighten the house with flowers and positive vibes—“Bee Happy” energy all around 🌼🐝 She also enjoyed a cozy catch-up by the cutest little cup ☕💜

🗺️ Captain Quack Sparrow followed his treasure map straight to Camper’s Cove
🦆 Rosie met a real duck!
💻 Bill stayed productive with some homework in his “outside office”
🥾 Duckie Boone & dog friend, Dakota explored Old Man’s Cave & saw a waterfall!
🍕 Pink Lemonade made new kitten friends and grabbed some pizza
🌄 Dottie struck a pose for scenic photos and caught up on her reading while she took another flight

Our ducks have been BUSY today… 👀
☺️One little explorer found the perfect spot to relax poolside and soak in the peaceful view.
🌊 Nola – Living on the edge… literally! Balancing by the water and playing in the sand and getting a little too into beach life
⛰️ One duck went exploring deep inside a cave like a brave adventurer and visited a new (feathery) friend. The new friend was not very sure about our quackie friend.
🍬 Another sweet duck has been soaking up sunshine and beach vibes
📚 Page – Reading and relaxing on a beautiful day and working on our Legos

A huge thank you to Trooper Parker, Trooper Morgan and Officer Jackson for spending time with our students during Scoop with a Troop! Our students had such a special time enjoying sweet treats, sharing smiles, and making wonderful memories.
We are especially proud of these students for showing perseverance throughout the school year. They worked hard, stayed positive, and represented our school so well. 💙 Their determination and great attitudes made this event even more meaningful.
