🐎🌹 Derby Day, ACPC's Version🌹🐎
Our students showed up to celebrate a Kentucky tradition with their Derby hats and race-day spirit.
We put our own spin on the "Run for the Roses" and had stick horse races! There was lots of cheering, and a few very competitive racers. 🐴💨 Winners took home lollipop bouquet prizes!

Today ACPC was proud to celebrate Purple Up! Day in support of our military-connected students and families. We honor their strength, resilience, and the unique challenges they navigate with courage every day, especially those with deployed parents. 💜
We are also excited to share the Kentucky Purple Star Annual Art Contest! 🎨 Entries are due May 29, 2026. Winning artwork will be recognized next school year and shared across the state! See the attached graphic for details.

Our Lucky Ducks were BUSY this spring break… and the adventures kept growing! ☀️
🦆 Murray kicked things off at Rudy’s Restaurant—practicing good manners and staying cool in the A/C 😎🍽️ and enjoyed a film at Cheri Theatres🍿🎬
🦆 Mrs. Featherington supervised a backyard project… making sure every hammer swing met duck standards 🔨😂
🦆 Ducky cruised along on a tractor—living that country dream getting the garden ready 🚜🌾
🦆 Murray loved rolls and sweet tea at Dumplin’s… carbs = happiness 🧈🥖
🦆 Martha soaked up the fresh spring air out in the yard working on landscaping 🌼☀️
🦆 Pinkalicious relaxed by the water… still telling stories about “the one that got away” 🎣😄 Explored Dutch Country Safari Park—wild times with new animal friends 🦓
🦆 Rosie the reader ended the week with a cozy cup and quiet time in the Smokey Mountains☕💕
🦆 Sparkle hit the sand with a refreshing drink—sun, waves, and chill mode activated 🌊🏖️🍓
🦆 Pinkalicious hit the road with a cute tumbler—riding in style and staying hydrated 🚗🥤
🦆 Michelle visited SKyPAC for a night out—taking in the lights and local fun 🌆🎭
🦆 Mrs. Featherington helped brighten the house with flowers and positive vibes—“Bee Happy” energy all around 🌼🐝 She also enjoyed a cozy catch-up by the cutest little cup ☕💜
🦆 Dumbo found a whole crew of duck friends—talk about squad goals! 🦆🦆🦆He also took a ride on the rails—full speed ahead! 🚂
🦆 Lyla spent the day poolside with big smiles and even bigger fun—nothing beats sunshine and laughter 😊💙
