🎉 It’s the 106th Day of School at ACPC 🎉 We are celebrating 106 days of learning, growth, and hard work. Students are invited to dress like they are 106 years old and show off their best granny or grandpa style. We cannot wait to see the creativity. It is also Mr. Shep Day. Students may choose to dress like Mr. Shep instead. Either way, feel free to dust off those bald caps and join us for a fun, school-spirited day. We are looking forward to a great day of learning and celebration tomorrow at ACPC.

If you have a child between the ages of 3 and 4, we would love to connect with your family! Allen County Primary Center is now inviting families to begin the preschool screening process.

These screenings help families learn more about their child’s development and connect early with our team when support can make a lasting difference. Even if you are unsure whether your child will qualify, we encourage you to move forward and learn more.

Getting started now helps us plan for the year ahead and ensures your child has every opportunity for a strong start.

Regrettably, we will be shifting to a Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) Day today, Wednesday, February 4, 2026. While we were hopeful to return on a delayed schedule, overnight runoff has refrozen, creating slick spots on some roadways. With temperatures at or below freezing, this has raised new concerns about safety for our buses, staff, and student drivers.

They support our students each day with care, guidance, and dedication, helping every child feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. Thank you for the difference you make in our school community.

Students will be given additional time to complete assignments once power is restored. • Some teachers may also still be without power and unable to post assignments right away. If that happens, they will upload and communicate with students as soon as they are able. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we work through the effects of this winter storm.

Due to the weather forecast, Chromebooks were sent home with students today as a precaution in the event we need to utilize NTI. Please keep Chromebooks in students’ backpacks to ensure they are ready if needed.

At this time, no decisions have been made for Monday. Please continue to monitor communication from the district through the district website, ParentSquare, and social media should there be any updates or changes. The NTI schedule is attached for your reference.

Most importantly, please stay safe, and have a great weekend.
