What is the Allen County Youth Service Center?

The Youth Service Center is part of the Kentucky Education Reform Act. It is a support for students and their families in the Allen County School District. The Youth Service Center was designed to help children reach their educational goals by offering resources to remove problems and barriers, and enhance the students' ability to succeed.

The Youth Service Center is available to, and serves, the middle and high school students, and their families, in Allen County.

Who Guides the Allen County Youth Service Center?

The Youth Service Center is staffed with a full-time coordinator, Heather Gray, who oversees the operation of the center. She is assisted by Brandy Seaton, our Program Assistant. The Youth Service Center Advisory Council offers program guidance. The Advisory Council is made up of school personnel, parents, students and community leaders.

Where is the Allen County Youth Service Center?

Our main office is located at the Allen County Scottsville High School, 1545 Bowling Green Road. We also have an office at the James E. Bazzell Middle School. The Allen County Youth Service Center may also be reached by contacting either school's office or your child's teacher.
