Graduation is May 29

   Approximately 190 seniors will receive their diplomas at the 41st commencement service at Allen County-Scottsville High School on Friday, May 29.

    The graduation service will start at 6:30 p.m. with the class processional. The graduating seniors will hear remarks from the class salutatorian and class valedictorian prior to receiving their diplomas from Allen County School Superintendent Randall Jackson and Allen County-Scottsville High School principal Shane Davis.

    The evening activities will include a pre-graduation mini-concert by the Allen County-Scottsville Chamber Ensemble. Special music will be provided by the high school’s advanced choir students. Principal Davis will recognize honor students and a short “From the Heart” message will be delivered by senior parent Nathan Oakes.

    Doors to Allen County-Scottsville High School will open at 5:30. Seating is on a first-come basis. The handicap entrance to the school will be the main doors at the front of the school.
