Dear ACIC Family,

I am very excited to be beginning my first full year as the principal of Allen County Intermediate Center. Prior to serving as principal, I was the Assistant Principal at ACIC and a School Counselor and 1st Grade Teacher at Highland Elementary in Glasgow. I am an Allen County native. My wife, Mallory, and I have been married for 16 years and have five children that all attend Allen County Schools (Ivan, Jace, Henry, Mary Claire, and Stella). We like to travel and spend time with friends in our free time. We are also actively involved in our church.

Over the past 16 years, I have learned that school should be a place where our students feel loved, become empowered, and learn to chase their dreams and surpass expectations. We look forward to taking that journey with every student that walks through the doors of our school. This year we are eager to implement Project Based Learning to give our students authentic and meaningful experiences. We will also be assessing student learning around the competencies of the Profile of a Patriot and fulfilling our promise to produce students that are ready to achieve greatness with each step that follows them. Join us as we pursue this year’s theme “Adventure Awaits.”
