This year we challenged our entire staff to reflect on a teacher they had growing up that helped shape who they are now as teachers. The purpose behind this was to help teachers understand the opportunities they have every day to change a student’s entire world. Below… is the product of that reflection. I am so incredibly proud of the ACIC staff and the hard work we have done thus far this year in ensuring that we are creating a culture of belonging for every student we have. While high expectations and student achievement will always be a priority, our number one priority is creating a culture where every student knows they are wanted, loved, and belong. EVERY CLASSROOM. EVERY STUDENT. EVERY DAY.

Today was ACS Connect 2.0, a district-wide day of professional learning where teachers shared their knowledge, expertise, and best practices with colleagues across the district.
